At Torikoe Jinja Shrine, which has a history of more than 1,300 years, the “Torikoe Matsuri” which is held in June every year will be held on June 6 and 7, 2020.
The highlight of the festival is the carrying of Mikoshi (portable shrine) of the main shrine, which will be held on the 7th. This portable shrine is known as the heaviest one in Tokyo.

In the evening, the appearance of the portable shrine with lanterns surrounded by highly held lanterns is called “Torikoe night festival”, and the festival will be at its peak.
