Plum Festival to be held at Hanegi Park where 650 red and white plums bloom

The 43rd “Setagaya Ume Matsuri (Plum Festival)” will be held at Hanegi Park from February 8 to March 1, 2020.
Hanegi Park is known as one of the best places in Tokyo to view plum blossoms. The park has a total of 650 white and red plum trees.
Various events will be held on weekends and holidays during the event period, such as tea ceremony, nodate, mochi-tsuki (pounding rice cakes) and Japanese instrument performance.

Note *Matcha service will be held on February 8, 15, 22 and 29.
It is held seven times each day (10:00/10:30/11:00/13:15/13:45/14:15/14:45), and in order to participate, it is necessary to receive a numbered ticket to be distributed on the day.
