The “Ume Matsuri (Plum Festival)” will be held at Odawara Flower Garden in Kanagawa from January 25 to March 8, 2020.
The plum garden in Odawara Flower Garden has about 2 hectares of area and there are 480 plums. There are about 200 kinds of plums such as early blooming and late blooming, the abundance of varieties is the largest in Kanto area. On sunny days you can see the Tanzawa Mountains far from the garden.
The theme of this year’s plum festival, held at the time of the blossoming of plums, is “rare plum blossoms”. Among the varieties in Odawara Flower Garden, plums with unique characteristics are picked up.
If you apply in advance, you will receive a kimono rental and dressing service on February 23.
Sweets and foods using plums will be sold in the park.
