The Shiba Daijingu Shrine annual festival held in 11 days from September 11 to 21 every year is familiar under the name of “Daradara Matsuri”. Because of the long festival period, it came to be called “dara dara” which represents “a state where things are slowly continuing” in Japanese. Also known as “Ginger Festival”, ginger is given in the precincts.

On 17th September, the carrying of Miya-mikoshi (portable shrine of the main shrine) is held, and the surroundings of Shiba Daijingu Shrine are energetic.
