New convenient hostel directly connected to the exit of the station in the Tokyo Nihonbashi area
The Nihonbashi Bakurocho area has recently increased in hostels and accommodation facilities, and it is gaining popularity as a base for sightseeing in Tokyo. On December 15, 2016, “Train Hostel HOKUTOSEI” was born in a convenient place directly connected to the exit of JR Bakurocho Station.
As the name suggests, this hostel reuses the actual parts of the sleeper train “Hokutosei”. “Hokutosei” is a sleeping limited express that had been operating between Ueno and Sapporo, which was abolished in 2015 while being missed by many fans. It was called “Japan’s first luxurious sleeping limited express”.
The interior of the hostel, which reuses in-car furniture as much as possible, such as bunk beds and individual room beds, chairs and tables of dining car, is as if you are on a sleeping train. In addition to reusing parts, in order to ensure comfort as a hostel, the bed size is wider by 10cm than the actual one.
Since sightseeing booth which can obtain sightseeing information of Tohoku is installed, how about trying for traveling?
