The memorable first exhibition of the Japanese Sword Museum which moved to Ryogoku
The Japanese Sword Museum which was popular in the place of Yoyogi for about 50 years relocated to Ryogoku and opened newly on January 19, 2018. As the first exhibition to commemorate, the “Contemporary Swords and Artworks Exhibition” will be held.
“Exhibition of Newly Made Swords” and “Sword Mounting and Polishing Awards Exhibition” are contests with a tradition held more than 60 times each. These two exhibitions will be held jointly as “Contemporary Swords and Artworks Exhibition”. Exhibits are changed, and all works will appear during the exhibition.
