Pikachu Outbreak! (Pikachu Tairyo Hasseichu) 2019
This year will be held at night! Annual event that lots of Pikachu appear in the city of Yokohama
A large-scale event “Pikachu Outbreak! (Pikachu Tairyo Hasseichu) 2019” will be held from August 6 to 12, 2019, in which many Pikachus will appear in the city of Yokohama.
Major events will be held at night this year. A total of more than 2,000 Pikachus, the largest in the past, will make Yokohama a lively night.
■The Streets of Minato Mirai × Pikachu
Dressed in LED costumes, Pikachu will give a performance of light together with projection mapping, using the Yokohama Museum of Art as a backdrop.

■The Seas of Minato Mirai × Pikachu
A magical performance set against the nightscape of Yokohama Bay Bridge that weaves together Pikachu with fountains springing forth from the seas to the skies.

■The Forests of Minato Mirai × Pikachu
An awe-inspiring performance featuring the largest number of Pikachu in history, set against the nightscape of skyscrapers of Minato Mirai glittering beyond the green space.
