Tokyo Tower “Milky Way Illumination”
The annual event of Tokyo Tower in the summer, the fantastic “Milky Way Illumination” starts
The annual summer event in Tokyo Tower “Milky Way Illumination”.
The ceiling of the first floor of Main Deck is filled with blue starry sky. The Milky Way flows its course through these stars as if separating the patiently still Orihime (Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair). Also, you may find shooting stars.
Moreover, for the duration of this event, the outer staircase connecting the Main Deck to the ground has similarly been fantastically reborn at night as an “outer staircase of blue stars”!
Normally only open on weekends, the 600-step outer staircase is specially open at night for the duration of the “Milky Way Illumination” event, between 17:00 – 22:00 on weekdays and 11:00 – 22:00 on weekends and holidays!
Why don’t you go up the outer staircase to the Main Deck while watching the night view at this opportunity?
