The theme of Tokyo Tower Winter Projection Mapping is “Tokyo lights that change with the times”
At Tokyo Tower, the winter projection mapping event “Tokyo Tower City Light Fantasia” will be held from November 16, 2019 to February 11, 2020.
This winter’s theme is “Tokyo lights that change with the times”.
From the good old days of the past up until the present day, the content focuses on the various lights that have colored the cityscape of Tokyo.
Starting with gas lights, a large number of neon signs that are a symbol of high economic growth, lights shining through the windows of high-rise buildings that have been built one after another, the headlights of lots of cars on a main street…
The brightness of those lights also colors the snow that falls in Tokyo.
Also, some of the window glass have experience mapping that allows you to create your own varied lights that appear during the production by holding your hands out.
