Sakura Festival in Fukakawa area where you can feel the taste of Edo

“Oedo Fukagawa Sakura Matsuri (Cherry Blossom Festival)” will be held in the Fukagawa area from March 21 to April 5, 2020.

About 270 cherry trees, which planted along the Oyokogawa River located to the south of Monzennakacho Station, bloom from late March to early April. During the Sakura Matsuri, cherry blossoms are illuminated between Etchujimabashi Bridge and Toutomibashi Bridge. Shops from local shopping streets set up stalls, so as you gaze up at the blossoms, you can eat, drink, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. In addition, you can ride on a boat and enjoy the cherry blossoms that reach near the surface of the river up close.
