A fantasy world created by aquatic life and art with the theme of the fairy tales of Kenji Miyazawa

In the Sumida Aquarium, “Fairy tale in Aquarium – The world of water and fantasy -” will be held from September 29 to November 19, 2017. This event is produced by Asami Kiyokawa, an artist known for her unique work of embroidery on photographs, on the theme of the fairy tales of Kenji Miyazawa.
The venue is decorated with a beautiful and fantastic world view like an illustration of a picture book.

At the Penguin Cafe, special menu will be offered that imaged the world of Kenji Miyazawa works only during the event period.

Admission	The event is free, but aquarium admission fee is required. Adults　2,050 yen High School Students　1,500 yen Junior High School and Elementary School Students　1,000 yen Children (Aged 3 and over) 　600 yen *Disabled visitors and one escort are each eligible to receive a 50％ discount on general admission fees upon presentation of a Disability Certificate.（Round off to nearest ten.） *Junior high school and high school students are requested to show their student identification at the ticket counter.
