Tribute illustration exhibition by 79 Japanese and French artists influenced by worldly known Katsuhiro Otomo
Katsuhiro Otomo, well-known for worldwide popular manga “Domu: A Child’s Dream” “Akira”. A tribute illustration exhibition “TRIBUTE TO OTOMO EXHIBITION” by 79 Japanese and French artists influenced by him will be held at Tower Records Shibuya from June 3, 2017 to June 18, 2017.
This exhibition will be held in commemoration of the Grand Prix award at Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d’Angoulême of Katsuhiro Otomo and the publication of tribute illustration collections by artists influenced by him in Japan and France.
In this exhibition, illustrations published in “TRIBUTE TO OTOMO” will be displayed with high definition output and original drawings of Katsuhiro Otomo, including illustrations to be displayed for the first time, will also be exhibited.
Furthermore, the representative works of the participating artists can freely browse.
