The convenience application “Japan Connected-free Wi-Fi”
It is an application that you can use Free Wi-Fi service offered at convenience stores and shopping malls throughout the country, stations and buses, prefectures and municipalities in various areas. When using these Free Wi-Fi services, there are cases in which procedures necessary for use are variously and you usualy need registration for each service. By using this application, you can connect services provided by each company and organization with just one application. To use it, please download the application and register it by e-mail address or register it by SNS account you already have. The Free Wi-Fi location is displayed on the screen of the application.
With this application you can use GPS to locate the current position and the nearby Wi-Fi spots on the map. You can connect by going to the target Wi-Fi spot usable area and tapping on the displayed Free Wi-Fi spot.
How much you can use the connected Free Wi-Fi spot is different depending on each service. For example, there are limitations on connection time and number of times.
The support device of the application are Android, iPhone, iPad. When connecting with other devices, please use according to the connection method of each Free Wi-Fi service.

Free Wi-Fi is very convenience to connect anywhere anytime, but because of focus on convenience, many services do not perform encrypted connection.
