The Doraemon Exhibition Tokyo 2017
Each “Doraemon” created by 28 artists and groups representing Japan
Cat shaped robot, Doraemon was born as a cartoon in 1970, winning the hearts of children in various forms such as TV animation and movies. And even if the children become adults, Doraemon keeps remaining in their minds.
“Create Your Own Original Doraemon”
28 artists and groups organized under this concept create their unique “Doraemon” with various techniques such as painting, sculpture, photography, media art and calligraphy.
5 artists including Takashi Murakami and Yoshitomo Nara who participated in the exhibition held in 2002 will participate in this exhibition. You can enjoy their works exhibited in 2002 as well as new works.
