4 days of enjoying Hozuki-ichi and Awa-odori Dance at Kagurazaka that leaves the atmosphere of Edo

The “Kagurazaka Matsuri Festival” will be held for four days from July 8 to 11, 2020. At this festival, the “Hozuki-ichi (ground cherry market)” will be held in the first two days, and the “Awa-odori Dance” will be held in the second two days.
In the Hozuki-ichi, there are about 50 stalls by neighboring restaurants, and it is crowded with many people who look forward to them. There are two venues of Awa-odori Dance, one is the “Kagurazaka Street venue” heading from the bottom of Kagurazaka to the upper, the other is the “6-chome venue” starting in front of Akagi Shrine and heading Kagurazaka-Ue. From 19:00, high-spirited dancers start one after another, along with accompaniment.
